Areteem 2015 Summer Camps!

The Areteem Institute is offering three spectacular residential summer camps in 2015. These summer camps are fun, academically challenging, safe, and unforgettable.

Students can spend either two or three weeks studying at one of three 2015 host campuses; living in the university dorms and experiencing college life while being challenged intellectually, and of course having loads of fun. The primary mission is to expose students to what it takes to be academically and personally successful.

These residential programs offer an opportunity for students to expand their academic horizons and develop well-rounded skills for a successful professional career!

In addition Areteem offers a day camp option for local students. From drop off to pick up students will have the same access to all resources enjoyed by residential campers while sleeping in their own beds at night.

A full description of the Areteem Summer Camp programs can be found at www.Areteem.org . Students can choose to work on one or more of the three camps:

UCLA - JUNE 21 TO JULY 10, 2015

BOSTON COLLEGE! - JULY 12TH, 2015 UNTIL JULY 31ST, 2015

UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO - AUGUST 2ND TO AUGUST 15, 2015.

SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

The Areteem Institute gives students the opportunity to turn theory into practice. It provides hands-on learning and real-world experience. Students are challenged to combine their knowledge, research, and creativity as they work in teams for their client.

Faculty advisors may use the Challenge as a teaching tool for part or all of the semester. The Challenge can be

  • A mandatory or optional class assignment
  • A marketing or advertising club activity
  • An independent study or capstone project

THE REWARDS OF THE CHALLENGE

You will be working on a real-world challenge in a team situation. The challenge provides an excellent foundation for any career in Marketing, Advertising or Sales. Some of the things the Scholarship Challenge will do are:

  • generate orders
  • acquire and retain customers, subscribers or donors
  • develop customer relationships
  • build brands
  • build web traffic
  • increase inquiries and generate sales leads

In simple terms, the media or medium used either singularly or as part of an integrated campaign, will target an offer to specific consumers identified as those most likely to respond and provides them the opportunity, one-on-one, to take advantage of that offer.

The Direct Marketing Association research clearly shows that in the areas of advertising spending, revenue, and employment, data-driven marketing growth outpaces total U.S. economic growth, with approximately half of all advertising dollars spent on data-driven marketing.

Hands-on experience in this area will give students a competitive edge. The scholarship helps to provide that experience with an actual client. And, participation in the scholarship is a differentiator that looks great on a résumé.

THE SCHOLARSHIP CHALLENGE

Create an integrated marketing and advertising campaign using any or all direct and interactive channels; e-mail, website, print/direct mail, social media, on-air spots, existing customer communications, with a goal of increasing the number of sales leads. A well designed campaign will focus on motivating and engaging potential campers to register for one of ARETEEM’S 2015 Summer Camps.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Campers span 6th thru 12th grade. Because kids are not the ultimate deciders where educational spending is concerned the target audience is Parents or Guardians of Students from 6th thru 12th grade. The target market includes:

- New customers who have never been to an academic summer camp
- Customers who actively participate academic summer residential camps
