Teacher Training Program for Saudi Arabia

In 2010, we developed and started teaching a K-12 Math Teacher Training program that coincides with the Common Core State Standards.  In 2012, the Areteem Institute was chosen by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia to teach Mathematics to their Master Math Teachers in their iDiscover program.  The University of California at Berkley was chosen to teach Science to their Master Science Teachers. We have taught Saudi Arabia’s Master Math Teachers in 2012, 2013, and twice in 2014.

The iDiscover program was designed by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia to inspire and motivate the nation’s youth to have a passion for science, technology, and creativity to transform the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into a STEM-based creative society.  Selected students from the iDiscover program are chosen to participate in their iWander program where they learn through immersion a foreign language and cultural. In 2013 Areteem Institute conducted their iWander program. iDiscover is sponsored by Saudi Aramco, the largest oil producer in the world. The Areteem Institute is proud and honored to be a cornerstone in the educational transformation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
