- On page 101 of the Solutions book, Problem 5.21, solution is not displayed. Should say "John could use 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 M$3 bills, and 0, 1, 2, or 3 M$5 bills. So, he can choose to use M$3 bills in 5 ways and M$5 bills in 4 ways. This means he has 5 x 4 = 20 ways of choosing which bills to use. However, since he will use at least 1 bill, John can't choose to use 0 M$3 bills and 0 M$5 bills at the same time. Therefore the final answer is 20 -1 = 19".
